First, you will need to get your hands on some Bitcoin Cash (BCH) as this is the money used to buy tickets. You can do this in a number of ways: by purchasing from an exchange, by being paid for a good or service in BCH, or by receiving BCH as a gift.
In order to purchase a ticket, you will need to send the ticket value in BCH from a BCH wallet. If you are lucky enough to win a lotto jackpot, you will also receive your winnings directly into your wallet. Some trusted BCH wallets to get you started (click to learn more or download):
Step 1: Enter your chosen username (can be different each time you buy a ticket), your wallet receiving address (for if you win the jackpot), and the quantity of tickets you want to buy for this Lotto. This step is required before you can proceed to Step 2 and purchase your ticket.
Step 2: Send the indicated amount of BCH from your wallet to the wallet address shown on your Purchase Ticket screen within the time shown. The easiest way to do this is to click the “Copy to Clipboard” icon next to each of these in turn and paste into your wallet, then click send. This will purchase your ticket, and you will see a Ticket confirmation.
Upon the moment of the draw happening, our algorithm randomly selects 1 ticket as the winner of that week's BitcoinCash GlobalLotto Jackpot. The Jackpot, minus the fees, is then sent automatically to the wallet “receiving address” of the player who bought the winning ticket.
We created BitcoinCash GlobalLotto as a way to showcase Bitcoin Cash’s incredible capabilities to the wider world. We also wanted to provide a way for regular people, regardless of the country they live in, to win life-changing money by simply buying an affordable ticket.
